what’s online: don’t buy my book, just read it

seth godin wrote a book, made it available for free over the internet, and published under a creative commons license. under the license he showed, it allowed someone to come along, print the book and publish it. mr. godin didn’t have a problem with that, just that the book was stated as new, when in fact it was written in 2005.
